OUR PLAYGROUND
Our wines are handcrafted in Woodinville at the state-of-the-art Woodinville Custom Wines facility—a true winemaker’s playground. This cutting-edge space has opened up endless possibilities for innovation, allowing us to craft wines in ways we never imagined back when we were making wine in our garage. From using traditional clay amphoras to modern concrete eggs, we now have access to advanced winemaking techniques and tools that elevate the quality and character of every bottle we produce.
In 2022, we expanded our winemaking to include Trothe Winery, located in the prestigious Horse Heaven Hills AVA. Known as one of Washington’s most technologically advanced wineries, Trothe is a world-class facility that perfectly complements our commitment to quality and innovation. Currently, we are proud to produce 50% of our wines in Woodinville and 50% at Trothe, combining the best of both locations to create wines that truly stand out.

Dahlman Cellars is Jim and Andrea Dahlman—a husband-and-wife team with a passion for crafting exceptional wines and creating memorable experiences. The wine world can often feel stuffy, pretentious, and overly serious—but that’s not who we are. At Dahlman Cellars, we believe wine should be approachable, fun, and something to be shared with friends and family.
Our journey began in 2013 when we started making wine in our garage, just like many other winemakers. What started as a hobby quickly grew out of control as friends and family couldn’t get enough of our wine. That’s when we decided to take the leap and turn our passion into a full-fledged winery.
In 2019, we officially launched Dahlman Cellars, and it has truly become a family affair. Our daughter, Kyra, works in the tasting room, helping us share our wines and our story with guests. Together, we’ve built a winery that reflects our love for wine, our sense of humor, and our commitment to crafting exceptional wines from Washington’s best vineyards.
